For my first capstone project at Microverse, I created a website for the fictitious Echo International Human Rights Film Festival. The project primarily uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create certain sections dynamically and enhance the UI.

casual_gourmet

An application that provides users with multiple recipes for both foods and drinks. The recipes are classified into popular categories such as chicken, breakfast and vegetarian for foods and coffee/tea, cocktails and shakes for drinks.

crypto-metrics-webapp

A single-page web app that fetches the latest cryptocurrency data from an API. The web app contains information on 100 cryptocurrencies ranked from 1-100. The details of each cryptocurrency are provided on an alternate route/page from rank to daily changes among other data.

doctor-appointment-front-end

A real-world practical app that allows a user to log into the site and view the available doctors in order to make an appointment. The user can also view the details of the doctor and make an appointment by providing the specific date and time as well as the description/nature of the appointment.

My-To-Do-List

This is a to-do list that is primarily created using Reactjs. The list is an array of objects that allows the user to fill in the form section with the activity, date and time. There is also the option of checking completed tasks and removing them from the list. All the information is stored in the local storage.

SmartMoney is a mobile web application to manage your budget: you have a list of transactions associated with a category, so that you can see how much money you spent and on what. The Rails application allows the user to: register and log in. add new transactions for a category, see the expense on each category

The backend for an app that allows users to publish their stories under various categories. The user can create, read, update and delete stories and their profile. It's an interesting app. Check out the frontend.

A to-do list set up using webpack. It allows the user to add, remove, edit and check items on the list. All the data is saved in local storage.

Leaderboard is an app that records the scores of various players. The data is posted on an api through a form and immediately fetched from the api once the players' list is refreshed. You can have fun with this project by playing games and recording your scores accordingly.

The math magician project is a single page app of a calculator. It has three primary pages: home, calculator and quotes. Whereas the Calculator page holds the functional calculator, the Quotes page provides random mathematics quotes for the user.
