create_taxonomic_update_lookup("Achneria brevifolia", resources=resources)
probably the suggested_name in this case should be Eriachne brevifolia or Eriachne sp., even if that name is not currently accepted? At least then it's closer to what it will be in the end (i.e. within Eriachne), even if the taxonomy is not currently stable.

Isn't Eriachne brevifolia the suggested name after the latest commit? I thought I fixed it specifically after catching that example - in the branch that merged yesterday. I'll check again

Sorry you're right. i forgot to pull the latest merge on this machine! nice work!
