This is an add-on that contains a utility to help users to find the bluetooth headphones if the headphones are being used by NVDA.

Headphone Finder NVDA Add-on

This add-on has two scripts, to beep to the left or the right, this can help you to find your bluetooth headphone. The tone will play for 5 minutes. If you need to stop the tone, press any of the assigned gestures. If you need more time, execute the required script twice.

Usage

  • To find the left headphone, press alt + control + nvda + j.
  • To find the right headphone, press alt + control + nvda + k.
  • To stop playing the tone, execute either script.
  • if the tone stop and you did not find your headphone yet, press the required gesture twice.

Requirements

You need NVDA 2018.2 or later.

Installation

Just install it as a NVDA add-on.
