Here comes a list of Open Source projects where you can contribute without any programming knowledge.

The projects

  • Code And Talk: Collecting data about tech conferences in JSON files. The README has links to the file describing how to add Events to the "database".
  • Common Voice: Mozilla's initiative to help teach machines to understand speech. Everybody can contribute voice recordings, validate recordings, (only English so far) and contribute sentences (all languages).
  • Godot Engine: 2D and 3D cross-platform game engine. Help with translating the engine and documentation or in lots of other ways.

  • A-to-Z-Resources-for-Students This is a dynamic list for everything you need to know for coders and non-coders. Make yourself comfortable updating the list and using any of the resources listed.
  • LearningOpportunity Guide that provides a quick and short tutorial on how to start contributing with GitHub.
  • lang++: A collection of code editing tools with support for non-English languages. Non-programmers have the opportunity to contribute to the translations.
  • Awesome App Ideas A list of app ideas. You can add your own app ideas. Non-Programmers can create app ideas for programmers looking through the list to solve.
  • Awesome Fantasy: A list of fantasy books and TV-series that anyone can contribute to.

  • Learn GIT branching play the game and learn git branching
  • DX Knowledge Base: Open source Knowledge Base filled with articles about Developer Experience and related topics like software creation process and team management

  • LaTeX Gboard Dictionary: ⌨ Add shortcuts to a Gboard dictionary to allow Unicode to be typed with simple shortcuts on Android ⚡
  • Open Drinks: Submit drink recipes.

  • Data Science Notes: Share notes across topics in data science such as mathematics, visualization, and modeling!
  • Liar Game: A web-based multiplayer game. Contribute to the list of categories / words!
  • open playlists : A project for helping beginners to understand the process of making a pull request. The readme has instructions on how to make a PR people can add spotify links of songs and coding playlists to create a single place for all the programming music.
  • Awesome Made by Japanese : The best open source projects that were made and mainly contributed by Japanese developers.
  • Awesome Made by Germans : The best open source projects that were made and mainly contributed by German developers.
  • CheatSheets: Cheat sheet documentation project that allows new/old contributors to add and reference most common commands for systems we know and love in a single place.
  • Superalgos: A completely Open Source crypto trading bot rewarding good contributions with the SA(Superalgos)-Token. Mainly programmed in Javascript/Html/Css
