the typecode report isn't correctly acknowledging typecodes from ancestors

I think we want to interrogate induced slots, so we can look in attributes to see is id is used, but we should look at the asserted slot to see if there is an asserted structured_pattern. If not, then look up through the ancestors to find the first one with an asserted structured_pattern. Would that always be in slot_usage?
