I do believe that these questions are damaging the industry. Still if you want to be relevant on the market this is one of the few things that helps to get hired.
So to have some fun in the process I decided to try to solve them in a functional way using typescript (sometimes other languages):
- No mutations if possible.
- No 3rd party libraries. So I would pretend to solve them using a whiteboard.
Which probably means I'm going to use Array way to often (for map, slice, concat and reduce).
