The goal of Qutter is to provide serialization and deserialization of Qt and .NET objects. Objects from Qt are mapped to .NET objects like QString to string, QMap to Dictionary and so on. This library is usefull if you want have to communicate with Qt applications which send serialized objects over the network and you don't want to have Qt installed or if you simply can't install it. A valid scenario would be a quassel client (distributed irc application, the client part) for WP7, since the WP7 is locked and only C# code is allowed to be run.
The following provides a list of qt object serializers which are provided with this library.
- bool - bool
- int - int
- uint - uint
- QChar - char
- QVariantMap - Dictionary<string, QVariant>
- QVariantList - List
- QString - string
- QStringList - List
- QByteArray - byte[]
- QDate - DateTime
- QTime - TimeSpan
- QVariant - QVariant
- QMap<T1, T2> - Dictionary<T1, T2>
- QList - List
A .NET 3.5 compatible runtime is required. Mono works fine too.
Qutter is licensed under the terms of the MIT X11 license.
