A little hub website to showcase what we did at Type@Cooper West

Initial Setup

1. Make a free, basic Github Account
2. Let me (Shannon) know and I will add you to the group

How to edit your information (Sign in first)

1. Click on the _typefaces folder:

2. Click on your typeface named file

3. Your file will look something like this, just head over to the little edit pencil icon and click it

4. Edit the typefaceBlurb: section with your blurb and also the bio: section. Add all your social links that you want, don't need the @ on twitter. Delete any of the social lines you don't want to have.

5. Add a nice, informative comment to the commit message about what you changed. Select the second option of Creating a new branch. Just let the title default to whatever it gives you. Then click propose file change.

6. You'll be presented with a confirmation page, and you should get a green check mark 'able to merge' status at the top. Don't need to change anything here unless you want to change your message. Just click create pull request

7. You're done! DON'T click merge. Just move on to the other steps, or go about your happy life.

How to add your images

1. Click on the img folder

2. Find your typeface folder  

3. once you are in the folder, click on Upload Files

4. Drag your files in or select them for upload. Go through the commit process, you can just commit this change directly to master. Don't worry about what that means.

How delete an image

1. Navigate to the folder for your images. Find the image called 'delete-this.png' and click on it. Don't do this unless you have already uploaded other images

2. Once you are on the preview screen for the image, click on the trashcan icon.  

3. Go through the commit process, you can just commit this change directly to master. Don't worry about what that means.
