Final Project - Deliverables

We need to create the following

  • Zip file containing your group's project environment, or a link to a github/dropbox that I can immediately access to obtain the full source code and setup.
  • Overview of the project: what are the important features you've created? What was challenging, and what have you achieved?
  • Short writeup describing the division of work: for example "We decided to have person X and Y work primarily on the physics engine while Z developed the visualization components...etc."
  • Short description of the project's structure, describing important classes and their interactions. (If you can make a readable diagram of the interactions, you can submit that rather than a text description.)
  • Some screenshots of the results and description of how to operate your project (images of the visualization in operation, what happens when you run certain n-body systems, etc).

We should create a Wiki page for the deliverables. I suggest the following division of task:

  • Division of work : Write your own part. Summarize what your have done.
  • Overview: me
  • Description: @ericponce
  • Screenshots and results: @gajjanag

Sure. Sounds good with me.

Since I don't know how to create a wiki, I will create a folder ganesh containing my deliverables (in appropriately named subdirs, e.g screenshots for screenshots, etc).

Where is this wiki?

I think for now the idea of adding it to the repo is not a bad one. See my most recent commits. Let me know if you guys want more screenshots, and of what types. It is quite difficult to find nice, stable, periodic solutions to the n-body problem on the web, hence the (current) lack of variety in the systems. Let me know if you want more though.

Sounds good. What do I need to do for description though?

There is a wiki page on our github repo
