Currently the gfm styles are borrowed from https://github.com/sindresorhus/github-markdown-css. Ideally they could be configured with alternative fonts, sizes, vertical rhythm, etc. They're not playing nice with my experiments with different font families and sizes for body and header copy (e.g. base font size of 17px with p bottom margin of 16px instead of 1rem or something along those lines).
