Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/code-plagiarism-checker.git
  2. Install dependencies:

    cd code-plagiarism-checker
    pip install -r requirements.txt

Usage

  1. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd code-plagiarism-checker
  2. Run the code plagiarism checker:

    python plagiarism_checker.py -d /path/to/code/directory

    Replace /path/to/code/directory with the path to the directory containing the source code files you want to analyze.

  3. Adjust settings as needed:

    python plagiarism_checker.py -d /path/to/code/directory -t 0.85 -l python,java
    • -t sets the similarity threshold (default is 0.80).
    • -l specifies the programming languages to consider (default is all supported languages).
