Example Playbook

This example is taken from molecule/resources/converge.yml and is tested on each push, pull request and release.

The machine needs to be prepared in CI this is done using molecule/resources/prepare.yml:

Role Variables

These variables are set in defaults/main.yml:

pip packages listed in requirements.txt.

This role has been tested on these container images:

The minimum version of Ansible required is 2.10, tests have been done to:

The previous version.
The current version.
The development version.

Exceptions

Some variarations of the build matrix do not work. These are the variations and reasons why the build won't work:

variation	reason
Alpine	The PyMySQL (Python 2.7 and Python 3.X) or MySQL-python (Python 2.X) module is required.
amazonlinux:1	/etc/init.d/mysqld: line 16: /etc/sysconfig/network: No such file or directory
