A static site publishing facility for Emacs Org-Roam.
Meant to be declaratively configured and not necessarily replicate
the file structure of org-mode files on export. Relies on Emacs Rust
dynamic module for preprocessing the contents of the exported nodes
(quite trivial caller to the orgize
crate, but may incorpotate other
features in the future).
Alpha stage. Highly experimental, with known flaws. However, already used to populate my homepage at https://siegetower.pages.dev/ where one can find:
- site configuration example at https://siegetower.pages.dev/siegetower-blueprints/siegetower-blog-setup
- general design idea at https://siegetower.pages.dev/dev/essence-of-the-tower
- this package source code in a literate programming style, at https://siegetower.pages.dev/orbs-engine/org-roam-blog-engine-package
At the moment those waypoints serve as documentation.
In case you want to try the org-roam-blog at its current shape and
form, download the repo, add it to your emacs’ load path and activate
with use-package
:
(use-package org-roam-blog ; load blogware engine
:ensure nil
:load-path "/path/to/local/org-roam-blog.el")
(org-roam-blog-load-dynamic-module) ; load the rust dynamic module
When there is variation among pre-built dynamic modules for different
architectures, the right flavor should be selected through customizing
org-roam-blog-dynmod-arch
.
