An application developed for a Microsoft Hackathon to convert the sound of someone singing to an instrument. It uses Praat to get the fundamental frequency of the voice.
Currently it uses a simple sinusoidal generator that also adds a configurable number of harmonics. There is also code to shape the waveform to create formants. Unfortunately, perhaps due to lack of good data, its output doesn't sound very convincing.
