A Gnome Shell extension intended for making touchscreens more useful!
Click (on a touchscreen, try swiping in from the bezel) the top edge of your primary monitor to open overview,or click the bottom edge to open the message tray.
You can also scroll along the right edge of your display to switch workspaces.
This functionality is now built into Gnome Shell 3.14
