  • Backend of choice

Advantages

  • Nothing to install, most computers already have a browser!
  • Most people are already used to world wide web (www) technology
  • Minimal specialized frontend-knowledge needed (we will learn it today)
  • Same person can do both backend and frontend

Disadvantages

  • Ugly
  • JavaScript is a pretty poor language
