The PLoS Search Box Widget will search PLoS Solr (this is currently set to localhost and will not work unless you have Solr running on your machine) and return a maximum of thirty results. The PloSSearch JavaScript has functions that handle the form submit and show/hide functions for the search results list and the abstract(s). It will embed the getPLoSSearchResults JavaScript code that sends the query to Solr and displays the JSON-P results in a list and embeds the stylesheet that formats the code.
