Instructions for development build

The development build uses the in-memory h2 database.

Requirements

• Maven must be installed. https://maven.apache.org/

Start app

• mvn spring-boot:run
• app is started when "Started Application in x seconds (JVM running for x)" is displayed
• in browser, navigate to the app's homepage at localhost:8080/

View the in-memory h2 database console

• in browser, navigate to localhost:8080/h2-console
• the JDBC URL must be set to jdbc:h2:mem:testdb
• click Connect
