This in reference to issue 14799 that I raised for C# implementation in which no deadline exceeded exception was being thrown.
So I created a similar implementation in go to see if the same issue could be observed here as well.
Go implemenation does raise the deadline exceeded exception
On mac
start server : ./mac/14799 --server
start client : ./mac/14799
On windows
start server : ./windows/14799 --server
start client : ./windows/14799
- client calls the server to fetch messages with a timeout set for 5 seconds
- server sends 20 messages to the client in less than a second
- client processes one message at a time and simulates a delay of 1 second for processing
- After processing 5 messages, client receives deadline exceeded exception
