A parallel ray tracing engine using C++, Boost and OpenMPI libraries. The system supports reflection, soft shadows, areal lights, texture mapping, environment mapping. It also has the ability to generate wireframes and Perlin noise. Being a distributed application it can generate high resolution images very quickly.
