Create a Metamask Browser Extension for Vite

Prize Bounty

$7500 in VITE + VITE merch

Challenge Description

Integrate the Vite mainnet with the Metamask browser extension. The following functions should be achieved in a valid submission:

  • Mnemonic creation, input, output and encryption
  • Address switch
  • The ability to add new tokens and check balance
  • List of pending transactions and unreceived transactions
  • The ability to send transactions and receive transactions
  • The Hook for signing and sending transactions
  • The ability to switch networks (Mainnet, testnet,etc.)

There are two good examples for your reference:

Submission Requirements

  • A working frontend and backend that capture all functions described above.
  • All submissions, including all code, must be open source for future use and reference by the community, and links to external documents must be provided in the Github repo submission
  • We will require a demo of the submission

Judging Criteria

  • The Vite team will run tests to make sure basic functions perform as required
  • The code submitted will be subjected to a review for extensibility, organization, proper documentation

Winner Announcement

  • If the submission meets the minimum requirements, Vite Labs team will schedule a demo after reviewing the submission. We will announce the winner(s) when all demos have been reviewed and judge's scores tabulated.
