Basic React Weather App is a simple weather app developed in typescript using React, HTML and SASS. The app using OpenWeather Api (One Call API) the app displays the current weather, 24 hours and 6 days forecast. You can change the unit system from metric to imperial.
Create a file called .env in the root of the app project. Add the following code in the file.
REACT_APP_OPENWEATHER_GEOCODE_URL = "http://api.openweathermap.org/geo/1.0/direct"
REACT_APP_OPENWEATHER_API_URL = "https://api.openweathermap.org/data/3.0/onecall"
REACT_APP_OPENWEATHER_API_KEY = CONTACT_TO_GET_KEY
Install all the npm packages. Go into the project folder and type the following command to install all npm packages
npm install
In order to run the application Type the following command
npm start
The Application Runs on localhost:3000.
