Platform Engineering has been getting a lot of buzz lately, but it has already been around for over a decade. In this talk, we will review what problems prompted the creation of a new discpline in a post DevOps world. Then we will look at how it has continued to mature while expanding its scope to incorporate Developer Experiance practices as well.
