NASA's Open API provides data on solar flares: explosions of energy and light that reach the earth in eight minutes. This community connector allows you to visualize that data in Google Data Studio.

Prerequisites: You need to have a Google Data Studio account and be familiar with how add a connector to a report.
- Get a free NASA API key to use with this connector. Copy it to the clipboard.
- Create or open a report in Google Data Studio.
- Add a connector to the report. Search the community gallery for "NASA Solar Flares".
- When prompted for the API key, paste in the API key you acquired from NASA.
- Create beautiful visualizations.
