About

A program developed to see if there are any streets with more mobile number operated businesses then the traditional landline operations. The use of Google's Places API is very important to rip all those numbers out.

Setup

git clone https://github.com/whatsinmyopsec/bulk-number-extractor cd into bulk-number-extractor folder

Install requirements

pip install -r requirements.txt

Usage

usage: extract-the-numbers.py [-h] [-k APIKEY] [-i INPUTFILE] [-o OUTPUTFILE] [-a ADDRESS]

optional arguments:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -k APIKEY, --APIKEY APIKEY
                        Google API key. For information on how acquire one refer to:
                        https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-
                        service/get-api-key
  -i INPUTFILE, --inputfile INPUTFILE
                        Input file containing a newline separated list of addresses
  -o OUTPUTFILE, --outputfile OUTPUTFILE
                        Name of output file containing a comma separated list addresses and a
                        given phone number
  -a ADDRESS, --address ADDRESS
                        Address to convert to local phone numbers```

Example output with a single address:

> python extract-the-numbers.py -k <your_api_key> -a "Thomas Street Dublin"
