This repository contains data and the associated processing tools for an analysis of landfills in the United States, and an assessment of the Landfill Methane Outreach Program, including current and candidate projects, as well as selected elements of the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program and waste processing. It does not contain analysis.
Data came from the US EPA via the Landfill Methane Outreach Program, the GHG Reporting Program, the Materials, Waste, and Recycling Program and the US Census Bureau. In the event data is removed by the Agency, archived copies can be found on GitHub or through the Environmental Data & Governance Initiative
