Troubleshooting

Screen mirror is not working on my video streaming service

Streaming services try to prevent screenshots and videos being made off their content to protect the copyrighted content. Winleafs uses screenshot-like technology to determine what colors should be displayed to the Nanoleaf devices. Because of the copyright protection blacking out the video, Winleafs can not properly determine the correct color.

From testing, we have noticed that Chrome is most likely to block content while Firefox does not.

Connection issues

Try the following if Winleafs has trouble locating your panels:

General issues

If you are experiencing problems, try deleting the settings file from %appdata%/Winleafs. Note: this removes all settings and schedules. Otherwise, you can create an issue here and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
