A Discord bot written in GoLang to provide realtime scrapes of the Steam Store for discounted games based on genre. Super fast access to the top selling discounted titles on Steam is what the Steam Scraper hopes to accomplish.
To get this bot to move into a server you know and love, follow the instructions below:
Navigate to:
https://discord.com/api/oauth2/authorize?client_id=953012273746694176&permissions=8&scope=botChoose Discord server you'd like the bot added to.
Must have Admin privileges on the Server.
Within the Discord server, there are a few commands that can be utilized.
- !genres - displays the list of genres supported by the bot.
- !{genre} - triggers a scrape of the Steam Store's top selling games under the genre entered here. Both original and discounted prices will be provided, along with a release date and link to the game page directly on Steam.
