A few scripts I've written to make life easier with aws, mostly using the python boto library.
ec2_instances.py - list ec2 instances
ec2_regions.py - list available ec2 regions
newec2.py - script to spin up a new ubuntu 14.04 t2.micro instance - this calls the cassandra_install.sh script after creation
cassandra_install.sh - script to install cassandra on an ubuntu 14.04 LTS instance
