Camunda Developer Relations

The Camunda Developer Relations team exists to serve the Camunda developer community, from internal employees to Open Source contributors, Enterprise customers, and the broader tech community.

It is our goal to provide opportunities for developers to be more successful by making them aware of our solutions, enabling them to be successful through great experiences, and fostering a culture of collaboration.

We have a number of ways we work toward making developers be more successful, including:

  • Awareness of our products & projects.
  • Enablement through content and excellent experiences.
  • Engagement (Collaboration) with other Camunda community members.

Who Are We?

We're a globally distributed team made up of developers and tech-savvy individuals who care about the tech community. We enjoy creating diverse and inclusive communities that provide solutions for our technical audiences.

Team Members

Sorted alphabetically by firstname

  • Amara Graham - Head of Developer Experience. I like experimenting in the kitchen, video games, cycling to nowhere and helping developers.
  • Bernd Ruecker - Co-Founder of Camunda and Chief Technologist. Not officially part of the DevRel team, but hanging around there most often trying to do something useful. Located in the south of Germany.
  • Christina Ausley - Technical Writer advocating for simpler, easier user experience. Experienced trail runner, amateur snow skier, and aspiring participant of the Great British Baking Show.
  • Danielle Andrist - DevRel Program Manager. Organizational junkie, reformatting fanatic, bad joke teller, new mom.
  • David G. Simmons - Principal Developer Advocate. Sort of nuts about IoT. Completely nuts about dogs 🐾.
  • Josh Wulf - Developer Advocate. I write code in a lot of programming languages, but ♥️ JavaScript the most. JavaScript is not only the language that will survive the apocalypse, it's the language most likely to cause it.
  • Luca Buchholz - Global Community Manager. Passionate about building meaningful relationships that serve global communities and empower individuals. Based in Berlin.
  • Maria Alcantara - Community Manager. Based near Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Mary Thengvall - Director of Developer Relations. I love dogs, cheese, and living near the ocean.
  • Mia Moore - Senior Technical Community Builder. Big fan of birds, vegan food, and video games.
  • Nele Lea Uhlemann - Associate Developer Advocate. Passionate about Open Source and identifing how technology can help people, organizations and society. If I am not infront of a keyboard you find me rock climbing and running.
  • Niall Deehan - Developer Advocate, maker of tutorials, teller of stories and builder of unmaintainable example projects.
  • Thomas Heinrichs - Cloud Developer Advocate. I love to be creative and experiment around. Coming from DotNet I enjoy exploring various other languages. Besides work I spend my time out in the nature.
  • Steven Hicks - Developer Experience Engineer. I like it when people enjoy the tools they use. JavaScript, TypeScript, React are my tools of choice. Cyclist, runner, triathlete, and artist -- mediocre at all of them.
