This project aims at building a website for the new students and visitors of our college (DSCE) for their ease in understanding the college campus map and design (locations of all departments). It also includes relevant links of the college website to the buildings on the map to make it interactive. This way students can not only view the entire campus on their finger tips but also access some important lnks of the department they wish to know about.
Running the Project:
- Click on the clone/download button and download it as zip.
- Extract the zip by right clicking and extract it to your preferred location
- Double click home.html file.
Given below is a snapshot of the interactive map website. Hovering the cursor on a certain building on the map shows the name of the department and a drop down appears. Clicking a department from the dropdown results in navigation to appropriate website link on college server. The same results can be achieved by clicking the desired button placed on top of the map.
