Nexbit Chain Daemon Linux
Rent a VPS minimal 5$ package is enough now
Create droplet ubuntu 18.04 64 bit
Choose Singapore/EU zone (Our most of the traffic comes from those zone)
We are using libboost 1.61.1, some linux distribution does not have that
Dependencies for Linux users
STEP-1
******
sudo apt-get -qq update
sudo apt-get -qq upgrade
sudo apt-get -qq autoremove
sudo apt-get install aptitude
sudo apt-get -qq install wget htop xz-utils build-essential libtool autoconf automake software-properties-common
sudo apt-get -qq install protobuf-compiler git pkg-config aptitude
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config libssl-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils git cmake libboost-all-dev libgmp3-dev
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev
sudo apt-get install libdb5.3++-dev
sudo apt-get install libminiupnpc-dev
sudo apt-get install libboost1.61.1
** If libboost creates problem
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mhier/libboost-latest
sudo apt update
Then
Add this: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/mhier/libboost-latest/ubuntu bionic main
to " /etc/apt/sources.list "
sudo apt-get update wget http://cz.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/b/boost-defaults/libboost-all-dev_1.65.1.0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
dpkg -i libboost-all-dev_1.65.1.0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
sudo apt install libboost-all-dev
sudo apt-get -f install
STEP-2
*******
sudo iptables -I INPUT 1 -p tcp --dport 13520 -j ACCEPT [if port not open]
wget https://github.com/nexbitproject/daemon-linux/releases/download/v1.0.0.0-g/nexbitd
mkdir .nexbit
sudo nano .nexbit/nexbit.conf [paste config here]
sudo chmod 644 .nexbit/nexbit.conf [look carefully in config provide for multiple instances use one for RPC user/pass]
sudo chmod u+x nexbitd
nexbitd -d
[ Now you can see its start syncing and working ]
