Himalaya literally translates abode of snow in Sanskrit, occupied the white, crystal and ice frozen Mountain in different shapes and sizes on the snow line (at 5000 m in Nepal). The theory of plate tectonics mentioned, some 180 million years ago, and seven continents combined in one large supercontinent (Gondwanaland).
