Could you please elaborate more on the problem this package solve and in what cases to use it?

It looks like an interesting package, but I would like to have more context in what conditions/use cases to use this, and why this would work better in those cases than when using the meteor subscriptions.

This package is for those statics data that you don't need reactivity that much, for example blogs. The reason to create it so it will release some stress from the server. You can find out more about why subscription is not good way for all data at http://stackoverflow.com/a/21835534
