.history directory never created in workspace

No history of any file is recorded. I'm assuming this is because a .history directory was never created in my workspace? Is there a workaround for this?

um...have you tried create a .history directory?

It should work when you have a folder open. Did you try to go File / Open Folder and choose your workspace? Then change a file and save.
