The Scanner SDK for Windows enables a developer to create an application that can fully control a scanner from collecting barcode data, controlling the scanner and beeper and much more. The SDK providing a single programming interface across multiple programming languages (such as MS .NET, C++, C#, Java) for all scanners communication protocols (such as SNAPI, IBMHID, USB CDC, HID Keyboard, Nixdorf Mode B, etc.).

This site provides source codes for the most commonly requested programming capabilities using the Scanner SDK for Windows.

Prerequisites

Following dependencies is required to run the C# and C++ sample applications.

  1. Zebra CoreScanner Driver for Windows
  2. .Net Framework 4.5 or above.
  3. Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 (SDKs, C# and C++)
