This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
I used Next.js and mostly styled jsx to write this project, and a little bit of CSS module for some additional styling.
This is a quick sketch of how I want to structure the page on paper
- Separate the university card as an individual component?
- Try to explore color masking image through css
- Consider using css variable for font size as well to be more systematic
- Remove unused dependencies
To set up a local dev environment, go to terminal, and run
npm install
to install all the dependencies.
And run
npx next
to start the server on http://localhost:3000
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js
.
The pages/api
directory is mapped to /api/*
. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
