This repository presents a blockchain-based framework, TrustFed, for Cross-Device Federated Learning systems to detect the model poisoning attacks, enable fair training settings, and maintain the participating devices' reputation. TrustFed provides fairness by detecting and removing the attackers from the training distributions. It uses blockchain smart contracts to maintain participating devices' reputations to compel the participants in bringing active and honest model contributions. We implemented the TrustFed using a python-simulated FL framework, blockchain smart contracts, and statistical outlier detection techniques.

Wireless Sensor Network is one of the growing technologies for sensing and also performing for different tasks. These types of networks are beneficial in many fields, such as emergencies, health monitoring, environmental control, military, industries and these networks are prone to malicious users and physical attacks due to radio range of network, un-trusted transmission, unattended nature and get access easily. Security is a fundamental requirement for these kinds of networks. Wireless sensor networks consist of small nodes with sensing, computation and communications capabilities. Routing protocols are one of the key technologies in Wireless Sensor Network. The routing protocol is a process to select a suitable path for the data to travel from source to destination. In this paper, according to the network structure in WSN, we modified the original LEACH protocol and also proposed a method that contains clustering of the sensor nodes. We use clustering in the LEACH protocol to enlarge energy efficiency and increase overall throughput. we compare the proposed method with LEACH and HEED routing protocols considering some predefined parameters and matrices. We also discuss the k-means clustering process and two routing protocols and propose a scheme modifying an existing routing protocol.
