CSE 5542 Lab 1 Dan Ziemba Compile instructions ==================== Linux ----- Run the following in the source directory: cmake . make Windows ------- Open "Visual Studio Command Prompt" cd to the source directory Run the following: wincompile.bat In Windows Explorer, ensure the the execute permissions are set for the following files: lab1.exe freeglut.dll Running the program =================== Linux ----- From the source directory, run: ./lab1 Windows ------- Double click lab1.exe or run lab1.exe from command prompt Program instructions ==================== Running the program will display instructions on a console standard output. Note that the key for displaying a start was changed to 'n' since 'a' was already used by zoom. Notes on Windows ================ The freeglut library and headers are included. The following files are from freeglut.sourceforge.net: win32/include/GL/* win32/lib/* freeglut.dll No sln file is included for Visual Studio because the program will not link correctly, at least not on the lab computers. If cmake is installed on your copy of Windows, it can generate a Visual Studio solution by doing the following: Open "Visual Studio Command Prompt" cd to source directory Run (don't forget the dot): <path-to-cmake-bin>\cmake -G "Visual Studio 10" . Open the generated cse5542lab1.sln file
