Do we need albacor based call fast5s at all steps?

Hi @mitenjain and @ArtRand ,

This might be a silly question, bu I was wondering do we need albacore fast5 base called files or they just needed for the extract step?
If we built readdb and we have fastq. can we do other steps using output fast5 files from nanopore run but not albacor based call fast5s.
