This project aims to develop a student admission web application using Java Server Pages (JSP) adhering to specific requirements. The application will facilitate a seamless admission process for prospective students and manage their applications electronically.

In order to run this project you need:
- Intellij Ultmate IDE
- Tomcat
- Java mail jar
Clone this repository to your desired folder:
- git clone "https://github.com/Brenda309/Admission_Application.git"
- File | Recent projects and selecting the project
- Configure tomcat to run project
Install this project with:
- sudo apt install default-jdk
- sudo useradd -r -m -U -d /opt/tomcat -s /bin/false tomcat
- wget -c https://downloads.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-9/v9.0.34/bin/apache-tomcat-9.0.34.tar.gz
- sudo tar xf apache-tomcat-9.0.34.tar.gz -C /opt/tomcat
To run the project, execute the following command:
- sudo systemctl start tomcat
