Scale Matrix GUI results in zero matrices

Whatever scaling factor is provided in the text box seems to just result in a zero matrix for only the GUI. CLI interface appears to be working as intended/expected

This appears to happen when a user doesn't click on the table outside of the last updated cell before running the script. A possible solution is to determine a programmatic way of doing the "click" right before execution...
