Anticipated Targets

Testing

  • Regression test correlations accounted for
  • Visual inspection of the data at key points for each preconfig tested:
    • T1w-to-template registration quality
    • T1w brain masking
    • BOLD masking
    • BOLD-to-T1w coregistration quality
    • BOLD-to-template registration quality

Release Checklist

  • Open a release branch rc/v1.8.7 off develop when ready to stage
  • Open a draft PR from the release branch into main and perform a brief review and sanity check
  • Update release notes from CHANGELOG and request edits
  • Merge the release branch into main and then merge release back into develop (if there were changes to release)
  • Smoke tests and sanity check of main branch for merge errors
  • Reset _version_extra to empty string (CI should update all the relevant places from there, but iirc this step failed last release, so may need to happen manually)
  • Publish version tag on GitHub, create GitHub release post with that tag
  • Push to Dockerhub to update fcpindi/c-pac:latest (CI should handle this)
  • Tag v1.8.7-source in the docs repo to build the frozen 1.8.7 docs
  • Clear the Issue tracker of release-related issues, and notify people on support forums if they are waiting on the release for specific features or fixes
