This is a project that analyzes pedestrian and autonomous vehicle interaction. The analysis includes extracting the pedestrian's point of view through pupil labs software, detecting the vehicles in first person footage, and mapping the pedestrian's fixations onto the vehicle bounding boxes as heat-maps. The end goal is to develop a signal system on top of autonomous vehicles to convey information to pedestrians.
