Oscar is a pressure-activated robotic trash can lid that keeps your hands clean by eating garbage.

Instructions:

  • Connect a servo to arduino GND, 5V, and ~9
  • Connect a button to GND, 8
  • Fit servo to trash can lid (You need to get creative here. I can't do all the work!)
  • Create pressure pad with button (You need to get creative here. I can't do all the work!)
  • (Optional) Fit battery pack to Arduino and trash can lid
  • (Not optional) Draw a face on trash can lid
  • Download and launch Arduino IDE
  • Open oscar.ino
  • Fiddle with servo position settings
  • Upload sketch to board
  • Enjoy :)
