ADIBSD License condition?

I'm not a lawyer, but the last condition in your ADIBSD license looks like it might make it difficult to legally compile modules that use this license. If the VHDL compiler is run on a computer that contains no ADI components, compilation of such a module is "using the software" but would fail that final condition of the license, even if the bit-files generated by the build would eventually be used to connect to ADI components — is that restriction intentional?

Sorry for the late reply.
I'm not a lawyer, so this is not legal advice. The restriction is not intentional. We didn't have an issue with the interpretation of the license in the past and the same license is used for software that is cross compiled, basically being in a similar situation. The way is formulated was revived by legal and it was approved in this form.
