[FEATURE REQUEST] Non linear LOD distance ranges

Describe the problem you're trying to solve in your project

Linearly changing the LOD distance doesn't work very well for me.
I think it makes the changes too abrupt when the very last LOD is too different.

What I like to do is have a LOD0 for near the camera, a LOD1 for most of the distance, and only very far away change to LOD2
But the way things are now, if I set a very high LOD distance, the LOD0 is kept for quite a bit of distance.

It would be nice to have some way of setting the LOD distance for each LOD mesh separately, to have more control of the LOD changes.
