Thanks so much for providing your code! I have a question about the gamma function, however. Why is E_star multiplied by gmax (line 24, functions_modelHD.R)? Isn't line 23 the correct formulation?

Equation Line 23 is the formula used in Sosik's original model (2003), while equations line 24 is a more the conventional PI curve (from Platt 1976). Both equations give similar model output, so which one you choose doesn't really matter. I hope this help.
