can't currently find the right value to use

changing SPH_SMOOTHRADIUS via our EFFECTIVE_RADIUS value in my_defs.h changes the rendering radius, but causes the simulation to mess up. Maybe we want to keep these two separate.

there is now a scaling factor in mydefs to adjust from the simulation radius
