How it works?

Installation Approach no. 1 (better)

  1. Double-click of src/install.jsx from the Mac Finder or Windows Explorer
  2. Accept prompt: Do you want to run the script? by click "YES"
  3. Restart Adobe Photoshop ®

Installation Approach no. 2 (alternative)

  1. Open directory in Finder:

    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts CS6/Adobe Photoshop
    or
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Scripts
    or
    /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Scripts/
  2. Copy to it directory file: src/copy-color-after-picked.jsx

  3. Restart Adobe Photoshop ®

Debugging

  1. Open tool: ExtendScript Toolkit
  2. To display primitive value:
    • use $.write('any string') (similar to console.log)
    • use alert('any string') to display popup in Adobe Photoshop ®
